Both sides agreed to continue expanding bilateral practical cooperation. According to the South Korean presidential office, they agreed to further strengthen coordination in various fields, including advanced technology, economic security, and cultural and social exchanges. Takaichi expressed her hope to strengthen cooperation between the two countries on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea this year, while also strengthening bilateral relations and trilateral coordination among Japan, the United States, and South Korea. The two leaders also stated that they will continue to pursue "shuttle diplomacy" to facilitate mutual visits.
