On October 30 local time, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that grounding was implemented at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport due to an emergency reported by an inbound aircraft. The FAA stated that Frontier Airlines Flight 3546 landed safely at John F. Kennedy International Airport on the afternoon of the 30th after the crew reported an engine malfunction.
