On Thursday (October 30), in late New York trading, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury note rose 1.35 basis points to 4.0892%, exhibiting a three-wave V-shaped pattern throughout the day; the yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury note rose 1.02 basis points to 3.6082%; the spread between the 2-year and 10-year U.S. Treasury yields widened by 0.146 basis points to +47.713 basis points; the yield on 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) rose 1.84 basis points to 1.7921%; the yield on 2-year TIPS rose 3.12 basis points to 0.9982%; and the yield on 30-year TIPS rose 2.51 basis points to 2.4213%.
