[China Iron and Steel Association: Steel Exports Up Year-on-Year, Imports Down Year-on-Year in Q3] Jiang Wei, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Iron and Steel Association, stated on the 31st that my country's steel exports increased year-on-year in the third quarter, while imports decreased year-on-year. According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first three quarters, my country's cumulative steel exports reached 87.96 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%; the cumulative export value was US$61.3 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%.
