[Ministry of Commerce Announces Total Export Quotas for 2026] The Ministry of Commerce has announced the total export quotas for goods in 2026. In 2026, the export quotas for licorice and licorice products, artificially cultivated ephedra for medicinal use, live pigs (to Hong Kong and Macau), live cattle (to Hong Kong and Macau), live chickens (to Hong Kong), sawn timber, and rush and rush products are 5.2 million kg, 1.0289 million kg, 1.6054 million heads, 22,000 heads, 3 million heads, 150,000 cubic meters, and 16 million kg, respectively. Export quota management for phosphate rock and silver will remain suspended in 2026, with export license management implemented instead. Eligible foreign trade operators exporting phosphate rock or silver can apply for export licenses with valid export contracts (exports of silver under processing trade are handled according to regulations), and complete customs clearance procedures with the export license.
