[Netherlands Inflation Rate Slows to 3.1% in October] ⑴ The Netherlands' annual inflation rate for October 2025 fell to 3.1% from a five-month high of 3.3% in September. ⑵ A significant slowdown in energy prices was the main downward pressure, with energy inflation falling to 2.1% in October from 4.0% in September. ⑶ Non-energy industrial goods inflation fell to 0.4% from 1.5%, while services inflation accelerated to 4.5% from 4.1%. ⑷ Food, beverage, and tobacco prices rose slightly to 3.8% from 3.7%. ⑸ Seasonally adjusted consumer prices are expected to rise 0.3% month-on-month in October, reversing the 0.1% decline in the previous month. ⑹ The harmonized index of consumer prices, excluding owner-occupied housing costs, is expected to be 3.0%, unchanged from September.
