[Thailand's Current Account Surplus Expands in September] ⑴ Thailand's current account surplus reached US$1.87 billion in September 2025, higher than US$1.07 billion in the same period last year. ⑵ The main driver was the expansion of the trade surplus to US$3.64 billion, compared to US$2.82 billion in the same period last year. ⑶ Exports increased to US$30.63 billion, while imports increased to US$26.99 billion, with exports growing faster than imports. ⑷ The net deficit in services, primary income, and secondary income remained stable at US$1.77 billion. ⑸ The financial account showed an overall surplus of US$1.72 billion, mainly supported by inflows from the central bank and depository corporations. ⑹ Despite a slight increase in net government outflows.
