[Hungary's Producer Inflation Rises Slightly to 2.4% in September] ⑴ Hungary's producer price index (PPI) rose 2.4% year-on-year in September 2025, a slight rebound from the 11-month low of 2.3% in August. ⑵ Non-domestic output inflation accelerated to 3.3%, while domestic output inflation slowed to 0.5%. ⑶ Electricity, gas, and air conditioning prices turned positive year-on-year to 0.1%, while water prices rose more sharply to 4.3%. ⑷ Price growth in the mining and quarrying industry slowed to 0.7%, and manufacturing prices slowed to 1.5%. ⑸ Seasonally adjusted, the PPI fell 0.4% month-on-month in September, compared to a decrease of 0.8% in the previous month.
