[Austria's Inflation Rate Remains High at 4% in October] ⑴ Austria's annual inflation rate for October 2025 was 4%, unchanged from the previous month. ⑵ The services sector inflation rate reached 4.6%, remaining the largest contributor to overall inflation. ⑶ Industrial goods inflation slightly decreased to 1.3%, while food, tobacco, and alcohol prices rose slightly to 3.9%. ⑷ Energy prices accelerated to 9.7%, with electricity and gas costs rising significantly year-on-year. ⑸ The core inflation rate (including industrial goods and services) fell to 3.4% from 3.5% in September. ⑹ Seasonally adjusted, consumer prices rose 0.4% month-on-month in October, compared to a 0.2% decrease in the previous month.
