[Luxembourg Producer Prices Decline for Second Consecutive Month] ⑴ Luxembourg's producer prices fell 1.8% year-on-year in September, compared to a 0.9% decline in the previous month. ⑵ Deflation has occurred for the second consecutive month, reaching its lowest level in a year. ⑶ A year-on-year decline in energy costs of 8.9% was the main drag. ⑷ Prices of intermediate goods fell 0.9%, while prices of capital goods fell 0.1%. ⑸ Consumer prices maintained a 1.9% increase, but this was significantly narrower than the previous 7%. ⑹ Seasonally adjusted, producer prices fell 0.5% month-on-month in September, continuing the downward trend.
