[The US Dollar May Remain Under Pressure, Expected to Bottom in Early 2026] HSBC Global Investment Research's latest view indicates that the US dollar is likely to remain under pressure due to the Federal Reserve's expected continuation of its interest rate cut cycle, coupled with uncertainty surrounding the selection of the next Fed Chair, and is expected to bottom out in early 2026. The bank's analysis suggests that dollar bears will face multiple tests this week, including a series of speeches from several Fed officials and the upcoming release of key economic activity indicators. The dollar's sensitivity is expected to increase further during this period. According to the schedule, Fed officials will speak in turn this week: Governor Cook will speak on Monday, Bowman on Tuesday, Williams and Musalaim on Thursday, and Vice Chairman Jefferson will speak on Friday. The market will closely watch these officials' statements for potential clues about the policy direction in December. HSBC also emphasizes that the economic data to be released this week is equally crucial. The ISM Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Indices released on Monday and Wednesday respectively, as well as the ADP employment report released on Wednesday, are expected to have a significant impact on the dollar's performance in the coming days.
