[AIIB Announces Plans to Establish Office in Hong Kong] On November 3, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) announced plans to establish an office in Hong Kong to meet its growing business needs. The Hong Kong SAR Government welcomed the AIIB's decision and stated that it would fully assist the AIIB in further promoting the sustainable development of infrastructure in Asia. Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong SAR Government, said that the Chief Executive mentioned in this year's Policy Address that he would actively strive for the AIIB to establish an office in Hong Kong.
