[Abu Dhabi National Oil CEO: Oil Demand Will Remain High After 2040] Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) CEO Sultan Al Jaber said on Monday that oil demand will remain above 100 million barrels per day after 2040, while also warning of near-term challenges. Speaking to industry leaders at the opening of the Abu Dhabi International Oil Expo, he said, “Geopolitics continues to shape trade flows and news dynamics. Complexity is the norm, market sentiment influences the market, and volatility, in my view, is no longer a variable, but the norm.”
