[Institution: Global TV Shipments Fall Below 50 Million Units for the First Time in Q3 2025, Up 6% QoQ] According to the latest survey by TrendForce, global TV shipments in the third quarter of 2025 will only reach approximately 49.75 million units, up 6% QoQ but down 4.9% YoY, marking the first time in history that shipments have fallen below 50 million units for the same period. The main reasons are the extended consumer purchase cycle, the demand-driven effect due to changes in the international situation, and the gradual fading of the effectiveness of subsidies in the Chinese market, leading to an overall market contraction. The fourth quarter will see peak promotional periods in Europe and the US, while China will experience a surge in stockpiling for Singles' Day (November 11th) and Double 12 (December 12th). It is expected that the two major Chinese brands will make a final sales push, and global shipments in the fourth quarter are projected to increase by 7.3% QoQ, reaching 53.21 million units.
