[National Energy Administration: National Electricity Market Transaction Volume Up 7.9% Year-on-Year in January-October] Data from the National Energy Administration shows that from January to October 2025, the total electricity market transaction volume nationwide reached 5.492 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%, accounting for 63.7% of total electricity consumption, an increase of 1.5 percentage points year-on-year. In terms of transaction scope, intra-provincial transactions totaled 4.1659 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%; inter-provincial and inter-regional transactions totaled 1.3261 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. In terms of transaction types, medium- and long-term transactions totaled 5.2681 trillion kilowatt-hours; spot transactions totaled 223.9 billion kilowatt-hours. Green electricity transactions totaled 262.7 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 39.4%.
