[French Industrial Output Declines Month-on-Month in November] ⑴ French industrial output fell 0.1% month-on-month in November, compared to a 0.2% increase in the previous month, while the market expected no change. ⑵ Output in the extractive, energy, and water sectors fell 1.9%, mainly due to a 2.0% decrease in electricity, gas, and steam production. ⑶ Output in other industrial products fell 0.3%, food processing output fell 0.5%, and coking and refining output fell 0.8%. ⑷ Manufacturing output rebounded by 0.3%, compared to a 0.1% decrease in the previous month. ⑸ This was mainly driven by a 2.6% surge in transport equipment output, with automobile production increasing by 2.7% and other transport equipment by 2.6%. ⑹ Industrial output grew by 1.8% over the past three months. ⑺ On an annualized basis, industrial output grew by 0.3%.
