[Eurozone Bond Yields Little Changed in Early Trading, Market Awaits Italian Bond Auction] ⑴ Eurozone government bond yields were little changed in early trading, following a similar trend to US Treasuries, as investors awaited new trading drivers. ⑵ Investors will focus on the Italian bond auction, which involves up to €9 billion of fixed-rate Italian bonds maturing in 2031 and 2036, as well as floating-rate notes maturing in 2035. Results will be announced shortly after 18:00 Beijing time. ⑶ This Italian auction will conclude the Eurozone's February government bond offerings. ⑷ The yield on 10-year German government bonds rose 0.3 basis points to 2.711%, while the yield on 10-year Italian government bonds fell 0.5 basis points to 3.314%.
