[Slovakia's Industrial Confidence Index Declines for Second Consecutive Month in February] ⑴ Slovakia's industrial confidence index fell 2 points month-on-month in February, from -0.3 in the previous month to -2.3. ⑵ Current order levels are expected to deteriorate, falling from -14 to -16; future production expectations have become less optimistic, falling from 17 to 8, reflecting expected declines in output in wood and paper products (12 vs 38), textiles (-1 vs 16), and electrical equipment (-6 vs 14). ⑶ Meanwhile, the view on current export orders remains unchanged at -15. ⑷ The assessment of current industrial production conditions has improved, turning from -5 to a positive value of 11. ⑸ The employment outlook has improved slightly, rising from -6 to -5; sales price expectations have further strengthened, rising from 6 to 9.
