[US Cruise Ship Forced to Stop Sailing and Depart from Cambodia Due to Fuel Crisis] The director of the Sihanoukville Provincial Tourism Department in Cambodia confirmed on the 4th that the US luxury cruise ship "Odyssey," which had been anchored there due to running out of fuel funds, departed early that morning. He said the cruise ship left with only a portion of its crew; the remaining crew and passengers had already left by plane. The ship's next destination remains unclear. Operated by a company headquartered in Florida, USA, the cruise ship was scheduled to depart from Belfast, Northern Ireland, in October 2024, with a planned voyage of three and a half years. The ship arrived at Sihanoukville Port on October 23rd with 203 passengers and 156 crew members. It was originally scheduled to rest for five days before resuming its journey on October 28th, but passengers received notice to disembark on the 27th. (CCTV)
