Beijing Issues Orange Alert for Geological Hazards and Meteorological Risks (⑴) At 5:30 PM, the Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission and the Beijing Meteorological Bureau downgraded the alert to an orange alert for geological hazards and meteorological risks. (⑵) The alert indicates a high risk of collapse, landslides, and other geological hazards from 5:30 PM on July 29 to 5:30 PM on July 30 in southern Fangshan, northeastern Changping, eastern and southeastern Yanqing, Huairou, most of Miyun, and northern Pinggu (orange alert). (⑶) A high risk (yellow alert) exists in Fangshan, most of Mentougou, western Changping, northeastern and central Yanqing, northern Shijingshan, Haidian, northwestern Fengtai, Huairou, southern Miyun, and southeastern and northwestern Pinggu. (⑷) A moderate risk exists in southern Changping and western and central Yanqing (blue alert).
