[State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters Maintains Multi-Regional Flood Emergency Response] ⑴ The flood control situation has been severe due to the continuous impact of extremely heavy rainfall and typhoons since the main flood season. Continued heavy rainfall in North China and Northeast China has caused significant casualties and property losses. ⑵ As of the 29th, the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters maintained a Level 3 emergency response for flood control in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, a Level 4 emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, and a Level 4 emergency response for flood control in Inner Mongolia. Five working groups are providing frontline guidance. ⑶ The National Disaster Prevention, Mitigation, and Relief Commission maintained a Level 4 national emergency response for disaster relief in Beijing and Hebei, with two disaster relief working groups providing local assistance.
