The Ministry of Transport has activated a Level 2 response for heavy rainfall and a Level 4 typhoon response. The Ministry of Transport continues to coordinate and deploy flood and typhoon prevention efforts in key areas. On July 29th, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange alert for heavy rain, a blue alert for typhoons, a yellow alert for high winds, and a yellow alert for severe convective weather. Rainfall is expected to continue in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, but with reduced intensity, with moderate rain predominantly occurring, with heavy to torrential downpours in some areas. Rainfall will intensify in eastern Inner Mongolia and Northeast China, with heavy rain or torrential downpours expected in many areas, with localized torrential downpours. Rainfall will wind down in North China, Northeast China, and Inner Mongolia on the 30th. Over the next three days, as Typhoon "Hypocrea" approaches, parts of East China will experience torrential downpours, with some areas experiencing extremely heavy downpours, accompanied by short bursts of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, or hail. The Ministry of Transport has activated a Level 2 response for heavy rainfall and a Level 4 typhoon response for severe convective weather.
