At 3:00 a.m. on July 27, the Miyun Reservoir's inflow reached 6,550 cubic meters per second, surpassing the highest recorded flow of 3,670 cubic meters per second on July 13, 1994. At 8:00 a.m. on the 28th, the inflow reached 4,550 cubic meters per second, the second-highest recorded flood peak. The outflow from Miyun Reservoir was 1,120 cubic meters per second (the highest recorded outflow since its construction was 200 cubic meters per second).
