According to CCTV International News, on July 29th local time, a Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER passenger plane flying from Istanbul to Antalya reported smoke from its landing gear while taxiing after landing at Antalya Airport. The crew, at the suggestion of the fire emergency rescue department, opened the emergency slide to evacuate passengers. All 247 passengers and 13 crew members on board were safe, and no casualties were reported. Preliminary inspections showed that the smoke was caused by a technical failure in the hydraulic system.
