At the end of trading in New York on Tuesday (July 29), New York gold futures rose more than 0.4%, COMEX gold futures rose 0.44% to $3,324.60/oz, and the October contract rose 0.46% to $3,353.90; spot gold rose 0.33% to $3,325.34/oz; the Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up more than 0.8%, closing up 0.86% at 211.13 points; spot silver rose 0.07% to $38.1978/oz, and COMEX silver futures rose 0.36% to $38.360/oz; New York copper futures rose 1%, and COMEX copper futures rose 1.06% to $5.6750/pound; spot platinum fell 0.20% to $1,393.82/oz; spot palladium rose 1.31% to $1,254.91/oz.
