China has become one of the most efficient countries in the world for customs clearance at ports of entry. The State Council Information Office held a press conference on July 30th, focusing on the "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan." Wang Zhizhong, Vice Minister of Public Security and Director of the National Immigration Administration, stated that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, border inspection agencies nationwide cleared 1.556 billion people entering and leaving the country, and handled over 98 million transportation vehicles (vessels, trains, and vehicles).
