Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong Attends China-Cambodia-Thailand Trilateral Informal Meeting: On July 30, 2025, the China-Cambodia-Thailand Trilateral Informal Meeting was held in Shanghai. Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong attended the meeting along with representatives from Cambodia and Thailand. Cambodia and Thailand reiterated to China their commitment to the ceasefire consensus and expressed appreciation for China's positive role in de-escalating the situation. The meeting was held in a candid, friendly, and harmonious atmosphere. China continues to play a constructive role in supporting Cambodia and Thailand in peacefully resolving their border dispute, and holding this trilateral informal meeting is China's latest diplomatic effort.
