Reporters learned from the Shanxi Provincial Water Resources Department that recent rainfall has affected the Yongding River, Ziya River, and the Fen River, a tributary of the Yellow River, in the province, all experiencing varying degrees of flooding. From July 24th to 30th, eight rivers in the Haihe River basin, including the Yuhe, Sanggan River, Nanyang River, Yukou River, and Wenhe River, and in the Yellow River basin, including the Fenhe, Beichuan River, and Huluhe River, a tributary of the Wenyu River, experienced flooding exceeding warning levels.
