Eurozone Services Confidence Index Rebounds Surprisingly in July: (1) The Eurozone Services Confidence Index rose by 1 point month-over-month to 4.1 in July 2025, reaching its highest level since February and exceeding market expectations of 3.3. Companies' assessments of business conditions over the past three months (1 vs. 0.1 in June) and demand changes (4.5 vs. 4.2) improved. (2) Demand expectations for the next three months (6.9 vs. 5.1) and employment outlook (2.2 vs. 1.1) also improved. Affected by the US-EU trade dispute, the industry uncertainty index rose to 12 (from 9.6 previously), while sales price expectations rose slightly to 13.9 (from 13.4 previously).
