[CAC: Accelerate Innovation in Network Information Technology and the Development of an Industrial Ecosystem] The Cyberspace Administration of China released the "National Informatization Development Report (2024)." The report states that 2025 marks the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the planning of the 15th Five-Year Plan, as well as a crucial year for comprehensively deepening reforms in the cybersecurity and informatization sectors and advancing the development of a cyberpower. Greater efforts and more concrete measures are needed to elevate informatization development to a new level. First, we must uphold self-reliance and self-improvement, accelerating innovation in network information technology and the development of an industrial ecosystem. Second, we must uphold leadership and drive, accelerating the development of new productivity enabled by informatization. Third, we must prioritize serving the people and accelerate the equitable distribution of the fruits of informatization development to all citizens. Fourth, we must adhere to a systematic approach and accelerate the optimization and improvement of an environment for healthy and sustainable informatization development. Fifth, we must maintain a global perspective and accelerate multi-layered international exchanges and cooperation in cyberspace.
