Typhoon "Hypocrea" has made landfall in Shanghai, resulting in speed restrictions and closures of some expressway entrances. Reporters learned from the Shanghai Municipal Traffic Command Center that as of 5:00 PM, due to the typhoon, the speed limit on Shanghai's expressways was 40 km/h, and the speed limit on the Donghai Bridge was 30 km/h. The Jindu Road entrance to the S4 Jinshan-bound route was closed. All ferry services within Shanghai were suspended, as were Suzhou River cruises and Huangpu River tours. Nine bus lines in Chongming, Jiading, and other districts in Shanghai were suspended. The elevated section of Shanghai Metro Line 2 and the entire Metro Line 16 were restricted to 60 km/h, while the maglev train operated normally.
