[Bank of America raises AMD's target price, expecting its AI revenue to grow by billions of dollars] Before AMD released its Q2 financial report, Bank of America Securities raised its target price from US$175 to US$200, citing the strong growth momentum in the artificial intelligence and CPU markets. The new target price still has nearly 13% room to rise from the current stock price. Bank of America analyst Vivek Arya, who maintains a "buy" rating, expects AMD to gain a significant share in the CPU and AI GPU markets by 2026. AMD currently has less than 20% of the CPU market share, but Arya expects this figure to exceed 30% by 2026. Arya particularly pointed out the development opportunities in the GPU business, especially after the trade environment with China improves. AMD is expected to resume supplying AI GPUs to China in the second half of 2025, which may bring in additional revenue of US$700 million to US$1 billion next year.
