[The United States imposes the largest sanctions on Iran since 2018] The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control announced on the 30th that it would impose sanctions on the shipping network controlled by Iranian businessman Mohammad Hussein Shamkhani, involving more than 50 entities and individuals and more than 50 oil tankers and container ships.
