[National Energy Administration: China's cumulative photovoltaic power generation reached 559.1 billion kWh in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%] Pan Huimin, deputy director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that in the first half of this year, 212 million kilowatts of new photovoltaic power generation were connected to the grid nationwide, of which approximately 100 million kilowatts were centralized photovoltaic power generation and 113 million kilowatts were distributed photovoltaic power generation. By the end of June 2025, China's installed photovoltaic power generation capacity reached approximately 1.1 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 54.1%, of which 606 million kilowatts were centralized photovoltaic power generation and 493 million kilowatts were distributed photovoltaic power generation. In the first half of this year, China's cumulative photovoltaic power generation reached 559.1 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%, and the national average photovoltaic power generation utilization rate was 94%.
