Industrial Silicon Futures' Main Contract Plummets 6.26%, Positions Show Net Short Pattern. ⑴ On July 31st, the main industrial silicon futures contract 2509 closed down 6.26%, with a trading volume of 410,400 lots. The top 20 positions showed net short positions, with a net short position difference of 23,578 lots. ⑵ Total trading volume for all contracts was 832,500 lots, down 223,100 lots from the previous day. The top 20 positions held 149,300 long positions (down 13,300 lots), and 172,900 short positions (down 24,400 lots).
