According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to June, the added value of textile enterprises above designated size increased by 3.1% year-on-year, while operating revenue reached 2.2716 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0%. Total profits reached 67.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.4%. The output of yarn, chemical fiber, and clothing by enterprises above designated size increased by 5.0%, 4.9%, and 0.3% year-on-year, respectively, while cloth output remained unchanged. From January to June, the total retail sales of consumer goods by units above designated size reached 9.9219 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%. Among these, the retail sales of clothing, shoes, hats, and textile products by units above designated size increased by 3.1% year-on-year, while the online retail sales of physical apparel products increased by 1.4% year-on-year. From January to June, my country's cumulative exports of textiles and clothing reached US$144 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%. Of this, textile exports reached US$70.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%, and clothing exports reached US$73.5 billion, a slight year-on-year decrease of 0.2%.
