GMR Airports India plans to issue 60 billion rupees in bonds. (1) GMR Airports India plans to raise over 60 billion rupees (approximately US$685 million) through a bond offering, including 18 billion rupees in 18-month bonds (subscribed by mutual funds) and 42 billion rupees in three-year bonds (subscribed by foreign banks). (2) Both bonds carry a coupon rate of 10.5% and are expected to be issued in the coming days. The company, which currently operates airports in Delhi and Hyderabad, has a Crisil A+ rating on its bonds.
