The Nasdaq 100 index turned negative after rising 1% earlier in the day. Component stocks Arm Holdings fell 13.3%, Dexcom Medical fell 8.3%, Qualcomm fell 7.6%, Applied Materials fell 5.3%, and ASML ADRs fell 3%. Among the seven largest US tech stocks, MetaTrader 5 rose 11.6%, Microsoft rose 4.2%, Amazon rose 1.8%, Nvidia was flat, Apple fell slightly, and Google A and Tesla fell as much as 2.7%. The S&P 500 index was flat, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 133 points, or 0.3%, while the Nasdaq remained up over 0.4%.
