UK construction output increased by 2.4% year-on-year in July, hitting a three-month high. (2) This marked the 12th consecutive month of growth and the fastest growth rate since April. (4) Month-on-month, construction output grew by 0.2% (previous 0.3%). (5) Four of the nine sub-sectors saw expansion, with private housing maintenance and repair (3.8%) and infrastructure construction (2.1%) contributing the most.
