[National Marine Forecasting Center Continues to Issue Blue Alert for Storm Surge] The Ministry of Natural Resources reported that the National Marine Forecasting Center continued to issue a blue alert for storm surge this morning. Under the influence of a cold front, a storm surge of 60 to 120 centimeters is expected in Bohai Bay and Laizhou Bay from noon on September 16th to the morning of the 17th. The storm surge warning level is blue for Qinhuangdao City and Cangzhou City in Hebei Province, and Binzhou City and Weifang City in Shandong Province. The storm surge alert will be lifted on the morning of the 17th, depending on the situation. Relevant coastal departments are requested to reinforce offshore fishery facilities, conduct inspections and maintenance of seawalls, sluices, and other facilities, strengthen seawalls in weak and dangerous areas, prepare for flood control, and suspend outdoor group activities at the beach and marine recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, surfing, and diving.
