[DBS Group: Singapore's exports may continue to shrink in August] The economic team of the DBS Group Research Department said in a report that Singapore's non-oil domestic exports may decline for the second consecutive month in August, partly due to the high base effect. DBS pointed out that non-oil domestic exports of electronic products hit the highest level in August last year. The US tariff on Singaporean goods has also remained at 10%. However, DBS said that the tariffs imposed by the United States on Singapore's trading partners may have penetrated into the supply chain, putting pressure on external demand for other non-oil domestic export products. DBS expects non-oil domestic exports to fall by 1.0% in August, an improvement from the 4.6% contraction in July.
