According to media reports, OpenAI has hired former xAI CFO Mike Liberatore as the artificial intelligence (AI) startup's business finance director, responsible for overseeing its huge infrastructure spending. An OpenAI spokesperson said Liberatore officially took office on Tuesday. He will report to CFO Sarah Friar and work with Greg Brockman, who is responsible for managing the contracts and capital behind OpenAI's computing strategy. Liberatore has also updated this job on his LinkedIn profile.
