International oil prices rose on the 16th. As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $1.22 to close at $64.52 per barrel, an increase of 1.93%; the price of London Brent crude oil futures for November delivery rose by $1.03 to close at $68.47 per barrel, an increase of 1.53%.
