Middle East Crude Oil Benchmark Premiums Continue to Fall, Shifting Regional Supply Structures. ⑴ Spot premiums for Middle East crude oil benchmarks Oman, Dubai, and Murban continued to decline on Wednesday as increased supply flows to Asia from other regions continued to put pressure. Recent strong prices have prompted buyers to turn to alternatives such as Brazilian and West African grades. ⑵ The premium of cash Dubai over swaps fell 22 cents to $2.92 per barrel. Trafigura will deliver a November-loading cargo of Upper Zakum crude to NPI. Mercuria will deliver three cargoes of November-loading Upper Zakum crude each to Gunvor, ExxonMobil, and Vitol. ⑶ Trading data shows that multiple November-loading crude oil contracts were traded in the $70.60 to $70.69 per barrel range. The companies involved include Mercuria, Gunvor, Vitol, Trafigura, PetroChina, ExxonMobil, BP, and Mitsui & Co. ⑷ Russian pipeline monopoly Transneft warned producers of possible production cuts following Ukrainian drone attacks on key export ports and refineries. OPEC+ representatives plan to meet in Vienna on Thursday and Friday to discuss how to assess the 22 member countries' maximum production capacity.
