International oil prices fell slightly on the 17th. As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by 47 cents to close at US$64.05 per barrel, a drop of 0.73%; the price of London Brent crude oil futures for November delivery fell by 52 cents to close at US$67.95 per barrel, a drop of 0.76%.
