[Finland's Current Account Deficit Narrows in October] ⑴ Finland's current account deficit narrowed to €159 million in October 2025, compared to €445 million in the same period last year. ⑵ The improvement was mainly reflected in the expansion of the goods account surplus, which increased to €763 million from €438 million in October 2024, due to a 6% year-on-year increase in goods exports and only a 1% increase in goods imports. ⑶ Meanwhile, the primary income deficit narrowed to €52 million in October 2025, compared to €290 million in the same period last year; the secondary income deficit also narrowed to €94 million from €210 million. ⑷ On the other hand, the services account deficit widened to €776 million from €383 million in October 2024.
