[Hungary's Construction Output Growth Slows in October] ⑴ Hungary's construction output grew by 9.7% year-on-year in October 2025, a slowdown from the significant 17.6% growth in the previous month, which had previously marked the strongest growth since February 2022. ⑵ Civil engineering activity slowed sharply to 3.7%, compared to a more than one-year high of 17.1% in September; construction activity slowed to 14.7%, lower than the near two-year high of 18.3% in September. ⑶ After seasonal adjustment, construction output fell by 1.9% month-on-month in October, reversing the 16.4% increase in the previous month. ⑷ From January to October 2025, Hungary's construction activity grew by a cumulative 2.5%.
