[Montenegro's November Inflation Rate Falls to Five-Month Low] ⑴ Montenegro's annual inflation rate fell to 4.2% in November, down from 4.8% in October, the lowest reading since June. ⑵ The growth rate of food and non-alcoholic beverage prices slowed to 3.9% (6.0% in October), while inflation for furniture, household appliances, and routine household maintenance fell to 3.3% (4.3% previously). ⑶ Inflation for alcoholic beverages and tobacco slightly decreased to 6.0% (6.1% previously), inflation for restaurants and hotels fell to 5.8% (6.4% previously), and inflation for miscellaneous goods and services fell to 3.1% (3.5% previously). ⑷ In contrast, the growth rate of transportation prices accelerated to 3.3% (2.5% previously), and the growth rate of entertainment and cultural prices accelerated to 7.6% (7.2% previously). ⑸ Deflation in clothing and footwear narrowed to -2.7% (-4.1% previously). (6) Housing and utilities price increases remained stable at 7.4%, healthcare inflation remained stable at 13.1%, telecommunications prices remained stable at a decrease of 0.7%, and education prices remained stable at 0.0%. (7) On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.4% in November, a further widening of the decline compared to the previous month's 0.2%. (8) Meanwhile, the annualized coordinated inflation rate slowed to 3.9% from 4.6% in October.
