Data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) shows that in the week ending November 18, gold speculators on the New York Mercantile Exchange (COMEX) reduced their net long positions by 7,145 contracts to 96,685 contracts; silver futures speculators reduced their net long positions by 2,607 contracts to 20,933 contracts.
