Data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) shows that in the week ending November 18, speculators reduced their net short positions in U.S. 5-year Treasury futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) by 81,111 contracts to 2,382,013 contracts, reduced their net short positions in U.S. 10-year Treasury futures by 67,110 contracts to 753,697 contracts, and increased their net short positions in U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 54,105 contracts to 1,345,279 contracts.
